About Us

In 1964, Red Bucker started Red’s Electric company with a goal to provide quality electrical services to the Portland area while exceeding customer expectations though competitive value and a high level of integrity. Over the next several years, the small three-person shop grew and continued to work towards reaching their goals. In 1977, Jim Ferris came into the picture. Jim started working at Red’s as a material handler and worked his way up the ladder to become an integral member of the team as an apprentice electrician and a journeyman electrician before taking the role of president and part owner in 1985. To this day, Red’s Electric is committed to providing quality, value, and integrity to all customers through their work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
